Is this course suitable for beginners?
Yes. Module 1 walks you through every tool in Lightroom’s Develop module from the ground up. If you’re already comfortable in Lightroom, Modules 2 to 4 are where you’ll grow most: the Editing Vision System, finding your own style, and 11 full edits explained step by step.
Will this work with my camera?
Yes. The workflow works on RAW files from any camera Lightroom supports, crop sensor or full frame, older or new. Good editing isn’t about having the latest gear.
Do I need Photoshop?
No. The course is taught in Lightroom Classic. The Photoshop sharpening actions are an optional bonus for anyone who has Photoshop.
Will my edits end up looking overprocessed?
No. A big part of the course is learning how far to take an edit and when to stop. The Editing Vision System helps you decide the mood of an image before you start, so every adjustment serves the photo.
Which version of Lightroom does it cover?
The course is taught in Lightroom Classic. Everything also applies to Adobe Camera Raw, which uses the same processing engine and tools. The cloud version of Lightroom has many of the same tools in a different layout, so Lightroom Classic or Camera Raw are the easiest to follow along with.
